Buddhist leader the Dalai Lama has lavished praise for a new Mount Everest documentary, narrated by actor Orlando Bloom.

The spiritual guru has hailed the new DVD, 'Everest: A Climb for Peace' as 'tremendous achievement'.The film has been billed as 'a socially relevant documentary about peace, war, and the human spirit', reports Contactmusic.The documentary features some of the most incredible Everest footage ever shot, including a dramatic rescue from near the summit. 'Everest: A Climb for Peace' chronicles the journey of 9 'peace climbers' from different faiths and cultures as they climb to the summit of the tallest mountain in the world.
